We Can Help!

Worker Services

WWEC provides a variety of services for workers in need of assistance with employment issues. Whether its a referral to legal services or a question about your rights, your confidentiality is of the utmost importance. We never require your name or the name of your employer and will never contact either without your explicit direction. Services are always free of charge and each client is provided guidance on an individual basis. We recognize employment problems as not only systemic but as having impact on you, the individual. As such, we strive to provide a caring, supportive environment and professional guidance for the duration of your case. We have several highly trained staff that can provide you with:

  • Information on your rights under the Ontario Employment Standards Act and Health and Safety Act and assistance filing claims within the acts.
  • Legal advice and referral to legal services that fit your financial situation
  • Informal, 3rd party mediation with employers
  • and if you choose, direct action against employers and publicity
